Earth Day Resources

April 22, 2021 marks EARTH DAY... the largest environmental movement in the world. Did you know that the very first Earth Day celebration took place in the United States in 1970?

We try to make everyday Earth Day in our home by looking for ways to save water, use less electricity, reuse, recycle, we plant food gardens, eat a plant based diet and use more sustainable, low tox and eco-friendly products in our home. Here are some of the amazing products we have swapped into our homes.

Sustainable and Eco Friendly Products

We have also created a great round up of 15 Canadian organizations who work hard every day to protect our planet. They share great resources, activities and ideas on small ways we can help our planet right from home, like reducing food waste, replacing lightbulbs with low-energy light bulbs, recycle your batteries, prioritize walking, plant flowers that attract pollinators, and many more!
